South - ATL Car Rental (Cars @ airport)

I am sure this is listed somewhere in this forum, but for some reason the search function is not working for me.

Which car rental companies have their cars on site at ATL? We tend to run late when returning to the airport, so if we can avoid the car rental shuttle it makes life a little easier.

I'm not aware any of them having cars on site. The larger guys (Avis, Hertz, Dollar, etc.) maintain desks in the terminal building - you can't miss them - as you get to the top of the escalator, you're facing them (they are behind all the folks waiting for arriving pax). But, I thought all the cars were off-property. I can only personally attest to Avis, though. I use them when a connection to BHM craps out late at night and driving home is the best alternative.

BTW, the search function is kaput until the next version of software is installed.

rental is for many if not all companies at the airport. But return is for all - as far as I know- off site.

If you do not find it, just drive to the airport and follow your rental car bus. They leave from all sides next to baggage claim
