This probably belongs in Newstand but I don't have a link for it, so here goes:

I was flying BUD-MXP yesterday when the pilot announced there would be a delay because of an emergency at Malpensa. We circled around for about 30 minutes until we could land.

That evening the TV reported that the delay had been caused by a Swiss International Airline flight which had been hit by lightning and had to make an emergency landing at MXP.

That was at 8 am. At 2 pm a private Saudi plane flying in from Egypt couldn't lower its landing gear and the airport was closed again while firetrucks spread foam over the runway.

Nobody was injured in either plane.

A little OT, but why is that airport named Malpensa? "Bad thoughts"- am I translating correctly?

Check out the prices in their "Duty Free" shops some day and you will always have bad thoughts about the airport.
