Pictures of several AA lounges, most of which all look the same? Pictures of your personal trip available for all of us to see? How can you be an active (?) MD and have this much time on your hands, Charles?

Well, I fly a lot! I take the photos and then pay my cousin to turn them into a website!
Thanks for sharing these photos with us charlesmd. You have quite an extensive compilation there. Now if only we have a charlesmd flyertalker version over at the UA forum... ;)

He certainly gets picked on enough here that I think he outta get 1K on UA, and provide that forum the same works in Star Alliance form.
Too many here prefer to hiss and swat their paws as of late, and it's quite odd because usually the guy getting bashed in a forum is the one complaining too much about his preferred airline.
CharlesMD isn't doing that....he thinks AA is the best airline in the world, posts pictures, menus, and generally promotes the finer aspects of AA to merit so! The real kicker is that AA's own advertising can't do the job that the doc does...
I much prefer the self-admitted "foibles" of the OP compared to the come-lately few members with a gang mentality and ghetto posting tactics.... :td:

This isn't particularly picking on your quote srk123 but I do see this comment towards Charles alot in his post and also the additional comment of how can you be so young, doctor and have so many miles.
There is a concept I think most people believe that all doctors are stuck away in a office and cattle heard patients in to see or they are slaving away all day inside of a hospital somewhere. For most people that is all they see of physicians.
I have worked in the medical field for the last 10 years-and I have gotten the pleasure of working with doctors in about 8 different states-that include office based docs, hosp based doc/surgeons, research docs, professor, morgue docs and consultanting docs.
Currently I work with a mix group that does research, sees pt at the office & hosp and teach at medical school. Now our doctors do not seem to fly as much as Charles does but they do-do there fare share of BIS miles.
Before this group of docs-I worked with a couple of physicians that all they did was consultant-for one reason or another-you will be surprised the things that they get called in to speak about & it's not always the expert for the court systems like you see on TV.
With all that said-don't know what type of work in the field Charles does but the above is in defense of all the physicians that are not the stereotypical "ER" TV show docs and all the young physicians out there....I have worked with SEVERAL!

CharlesMD,
What a great trip report and what a wonderful website. What great detail you include. I for one was fascinated and kept looking for more nooks and crannies to your website. I love the SOS's that you made up.
AA is also our favorite airline. They have always been wonderful to us. My husband just arrived back home from London. AA upgraded him to business class even though the plane was quite full. (he was flying on the boss' dime) They have never once let us down and have upgraded us many times without our knowledge until check-in. We have never had any problems get award seats, even a couple of months prior to any trip we decide to take.
From one AA fan to another, thank you for a very interesting and informative website.

Thank you Shiloh and others for your kind comments.
