America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Codeshares for HP Elites??

I know how Star Alliance treats its cross-elites with similar privileges. For example, UA would allow preboard and frequently do upgrades for Air Canada Elites, and vice versa depending on the airline. Now do HP codeshares treat HP Elites like that also ... ie BA, Jordanian, Hawaiian, etc..?

No. Infact, codeshare probably isn't the accurate term to describe what HP has with other "partners". No reciprocal elite benefits exist whatsoever.

It is one thing that was better when America West was closer to other airlines... but now, not type of elite priveledges across airlines... That is one thing that is good about Star Alliance, One World, if you travel internationally, you are covered.

Of course, you can take the Platinum Challenge on AA and get Platinum in one RT to Singapore.. or Hong Kong... :)
