Will NZ be introducing PJs on the overnight flights in the new look Biz Class?

I doubt it. No pjs in the current first, so why introduce them to business premier?

To move the services up another notch. - F for a J price. IMHO PJ's would represent substantial value added - especially when coupelled with the new lie-flat seats.

A real shame. I think the front cabin is a perfect place to feature a good Canterburry jogging suit as PJs. Would have at least made up for the antiquated First Class service until the new J/C gets introduced.

Am bumping this as have been searching for an answer to this question. Seat Expert (http://www.seatexpert.com/_NZ_Boeing_747_400_suites_extra_PE.html) claims that PJs are offered in J, but on closer look at the text it looks like a cut+paste job from the VS site.

So should I pack PJs?

They don't offer them on the LHR - LAX route, and I personally wouldn't pack them... unless you want to look like a psychiatric patient ;)

No PJ's offered on SFO-AKL earlier this month.

I will be packing a loose fitting T shirt and pants as a PJ substitute. I find them much more comfortable to sleep in that street clothes, hopefully the street clothes will look passable the next am.

As for looking like the psyche patient, the key is to make sure you have removed the straight jacket, and numbering from the PJs ;)

Hmmm I guess I was one of that patient! :p :D
Took LAX-LHR, and I did change to my SQ F PJs. And saw another three pax changed to their own PJs or other airlines'.

Note: Ozzy Osborne was on my flight. :D

American pants, rather than British ones, presumably? Don't think I'd warm to someone in J wearing only a t-shirt and briefs :D

How did he behave on the flight ?

I would say pretty good. He was talking to his assistant (I guess) upon boarding till after dinner. He seems never taken NZ C prior to this one because the FA asked him about it. And yeah, he was sleeping the whole time afterwards. (Note: the FA made his bed though... special treatment I guess... :D ) Once he got up for breakfast, the chat continued till landing.
Well it's not that loud for the chat. Just sometimes it went through my Bose NC3. :D
But definitely he and his assistant, and yes, other pax too, was a bit surprise when the purser personally talked to me only in that front cabin! ;)

Another patient to add to the list. :p

Indeed no pyjamas in current NZ C which is a shame when the seat can be made into a bed and you even get a mattress and linen.
But I brought my NH F pyjamas pants (which are actually quite nice looking) and changed before going to bed.
Nobody looked strangely at me, quite the opposite actually, I think some people thought I was quite smart bringing something to change into on a long overnight flight.

NZ didn't have pj's back when they had F so were unlikely to add them when abolished F and introduced new business.

On NZ7 SFO-AKL last night about 5 or 6 people changed into something more comfortable in BP, including me. Loose fitting pants and t-shirt were popular.
If there's a bed, then might as well dress appropriately!

I'm hoping you're using the American term for trousers here...

Certainly referring to trousers.
As an Australian, pants refers to trousers or similar. Don't want to suggest otherwise :)
