America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - HP Credit Card

I cancelled my America West credit card over a year ago. Now I need about
17,000 miles for an award I want. Can I apply for a new Platinum Visa and receive the bonus miles? I thought maybe they have a restriction or "waiting"
period to keep people from doing this all the time.

Sorry, I believe they state it is for first time cardholders only. I know you can open the buisness account if you have the personal one at the same time, but that is the only way I know you can double dip.

Perhaps if you held the classic a year ago and applied for the platinum now they'd give you the bonus as it was a different card? Keep in mind, of course, these are bonus miles and not EQMs like other cards give out on sign up (US for one).

I see $45 for 4000 miles and a Visa
$75 for 7000 miles and a Platinum Visa
but I don't see how much for 5000 miles and a business card.

I hope I just earned some 11000 via Royal Jordanian, and am looking to bring the balance up to 25000.

When I got my BofA flightfund card, a lot of the bonus miles were given on various anniversaries - things like first use, first month, one year anniversary... but call BofA and ask them - they'll tell you if you're eligible and sign you up over the phone if you are.
