I must confess I dont understand airshares too well.
I think there may be separate inventory for the 2 partners, at least it looks that way on the availability tool.
Eg AKL-NOU on the NZ code is zeroed out but the same flight on Air Caledonie code has plenty of available space.
Is there any chance Air Caledonie may release some seats to Air NZ so that can purchase under NZ code? Flight is operated by NZ (I think) if that makes a difference.
If seats do get released is there a time when this happens? Or is it a matter of getting waitlisted (assuming that is possible) and crossing fingers & toes hoping?
