Hertz - How long to get Southwest credit?

I am half a credit short of a free flight on Southwest, so I rented Hertz instead of my usual Avis to get the 0.5 Rapid Rewards credit with rental. That was 4 weeks ago, and no Rapid Rewards credit yet.

My experience has been about five business days, on average. Occaisionally more, but never over two weeks.

Did your Hertz receipt (the one you got when turning the car in) itemize the reward at the bottom? If not, call Hertz. If so, you can call SWA.

Either way, the credit will be backdated to the closing date of your rental.

Same experience here, ususally between 1-2 weeks. I remember thinking that it was a lot quicker than I would have expected. I've done this multiple times, all with pretty quick postings. If it's been four weeks, I would definitely call or e-mail and ask.

Did you double check your rental agreement to make sure the codes and numbers are all there?

If something's missing, that could be the factor.
