American Express Membership Rewards - What's the difference between MR and MR Option Points?

I've been using www.membershiprewards.com as my guide to what i can use with my points. I was looking into converting some MR points into Delta Skymiles. The website says its is 2:1 - but i read on here that it is 1:1. I just called AmEx and i do have regular MR points and the conversion IS 1:1.
So my question, what's the difference between the two - and where can i find a guide to what/how to use regular MR points rather than MR options.
Thanks!

My understanding is that MR option rewards involving transfers of points to airlines cost twice as much as they do under the standard MR program. From my experience, the fact that your seeing DL rewards of 2000 MR points=1000 DL miles suggests that the computer thinks you are on the options programs. I suggest calling back to Amex, making sure that you are speaking to a MR customer support person (not just a standard Amex customer rep), and asking them about the status of your MR account.

I've done just that. I am indeed a regular MR member. So i get the 1:1 transfer ratio.
I'm just wondering where i can find a list of goods and services that are priced to regular MR not MR options.
