Air New Zealand Air Points - F seats available in summer 05?

I have a trip coming up this summer, late june/early july. I currently have award C tickets. Is it possible to request the old F seats? (LAX-AKL) Or is that something for *G members, etc.? Thx.

I'm not sure you can request it but doesnt hurt to ask - the F seats are in rows 1-3
