I wanted to post a follow up to my thread a few weeks ago about my CP status being revoked. The good news---it has recently been reinstated--yahoo!
I called in September and asked to be registered for a CP challenge offer that I was not targeted for and was told I had been registered. I told them at that time I wasn't targeted but they confirmed I was registered. After Jan. 1, they said that since I wasn't targeted, the offer was no good and my status dropped to GP. I sent letters to Carole Blazer and also Deborah Thompson, and recently my status showed up again as CP. (Ths of course was all combined with the bogus CP email fiasco, but I'm pretty sure it's for real this time.)
The reason I'm posting this message is to alert people to double and triple check if you think you are registered for an offer you weren't targetted for! I have done this successfuly in the past, as my husband often receives targetted offers that I don't, but my recent situation indicates that and you have to be very cautious about requesting these offers if you are not targeted.
I also want to say that I'm obviously very pleased with this outcome and I have to thank US for taking my inquiries seriously and resovling the stiuation positively for me.
