American Express Membership Rewards - Transferring Miles or Points INTO Membership Rewards

Aside from the Radisson Chain offer at goldpointsplus.com for tranferring 1000 goldpoints into 125 American Express membership rewards for elite goldpointsplus members (silver elite requires $500 spent at Radissons) does anyone know of any other transfer offers from any other airline or hotel reward program for transferring miles or hotel points INTO membership rewards points? Although not the optimal method for redeeming many airline miles or hotel points, such transfers INTO membership rewards could be helpful to anyone who need a few extra membership rewards points to reach a specific point total.

Since the Mileage Converter does not list MR as a possible recepient, probably unlikely.

MR = 1:1
MR Options = 2:1
I wish search was working.

As far as I know, MR does not accept points from other programs.

You can purchase points if you have a personal or OSBN card enrolled in MR. It's $25 per 1K purchased, and those purchased points are to be used as soon as you buy them.

You can also ask if there are forfeited points to reinstate. The normal fee is $29 per month per card account. So if you can reinstate a whole slew of points for $29, opposed to buying them for $25 per 1K, it's quite a bargain!

So those are some ways to get points into your account.

Points are forfeited automatically by the system due to 2 reasons:

1. The payment was not on time.

2. The payment was not in full.

If either (or both) of those conditions exist the points are AUTOMATICALLY forfeited and there's no control over that. That's the way the system is designed. Even if it's one day late, Late means Late and they are forfeited.

If there are, say, about 10 cards on an account, all enrolled in one membership rewards account and the points were forfeited for the month of May, 2005, once the account is current, then the points can be forfeited. So if there were about 20,000 points for those 10 cards, you can reinstate those 20K points for just the $29. It's not $29 per card, just per month per card account.
