No personal experience, but I highly doubt it. I've seen people turned away for trying to use Starwood/Costco/other non "pure" Plat cards. Also, in DTW I was once initially told I couldn't enter because I presented an NW BP for DTW-IAH on CO metal. It was only after I showed my inbound BP for PWM-DTW on NW metal that she let me in.

If agents are this well trained as far as which Amex Plat cards get the benefit and what metal the flight is on (even when it's a NW BP), I would suspect chances are slim to none that you'll get in without a BP.

From me experience, Northwest Worldclub requires an NW boarding pass (and if you are connecting via CO or Delta, those boarding passes will sufice), a government issued ID, and your Platinum card. You need all three to be able to gain entry. I know of an instance where a patron was denied access when she couldn't present a government issued ID but had her Plat card and boarding pass. The WC agents are very stringent on entry requirements as far as I know.
