Star Alliance - LH M&M award problem

Hi guys,

I'm glad that I found this site. I have booked an award on SQ FRA-SIN-FRA. Mr and Mrs VonDerVogelweide have an F award but my daughter has only a C award. KH says that there is no award availability for my daughter in F anymore (though SQ still sells seats)! We would be flexible but the days earlier would only get one of us into F class. What are our options??? Maybe upgrade at the gate?

I assume you use miles&more miles.

miles&more miles on SQ flights can only be used for award tickets, not for upgrades.

F seats on SQ (for members of 'other' StarAlliance ff-programs) are very limited (often, mostly?, only 1 First class seat is available as an award seat). I am jealous that you managed to get already 2 first-class awards!

Yes extremely unlikely to get three F award seats on SQ on the same flight(s). Either split up and someone take a different flight, or accept 2 F and 1 C - which is the best you can do on award, or pay for the third seat (ie purchase F seat).
