US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Help re: credit for a canceled leg

On 2/23 I was flying MEM-CLT, but the flight was canceled and I was instead put on a Northwest flight back to CLT. Am I supposed to get credit for the miles and segment on my US account?

If not, that sucks. If I wanted to fly NW, I'd book NW. Thanks!

technically, no. But put a request for credit in.

I believe you are entitled to credit - since your original itenerary was US. I have been bumped onto other airlines (DL, HP) several times and always received US credit. If it does not automatically post, fill out a mileage adjustment form.

Hmm, I dont remember this reading like this before, but here it is from the rules: (http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/programinfo/programrules.htm)

If your US Airways flight is canceled, the following will apply:

- If you are rescheduled on US Airways, the US Airways Express carriers or US Airways Shuttle, you will receive miles for the new itinerary flown.

- If you are rescheduled on another carrier, you will receive credit for your originally scheduled flight(s). Simply obtain a Mileage Adjustment Form from the Customer Service Representative, complete it and return it for credit.

- If you elect not to travel, you will not receive credit.

--- For Partner Awards: ---

If your airline partner flight is canceled, the following will apply:

- If you are rescheduled on US Airways or a US Airways airline partner, you will receive miles for the qualifying flights flown.

- If you are rescheduled on any other carrier(s) that is (are) not a Dividend Miles participant, or elect not to travel, you will not receive credit.

Thanks! I knew it would be in there somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
