I didn't read any posting or find any articles about it. Much different from when B6 pulled out of ATL.

Am I missing something?

There was one article, that I forgot where it is, but it talked about how they cant fill the planes because their target customers for flights to the Dominican Republic arn't used to buying tickets over the internet or over the phone and much perfer getting tickets through a travel agent or in person. How much of it is true? I have no idea, but I guess it make sense. Again thats just what I read somewhere way back when jetBlue annouce their going to cut service to Santo Domingo.

It seems strange that flts to Santo Domingo cannot be sold on the internet but to other cities in Dominican Republic can be

What I ment to say was from what I read, it said that the target customers that would fly the route perfer to buy the ticket from an local travel agent office because they perfer to buy their tickets in cash. Since jetBlue sell their tickets online and over the phone, it was hard getting those that would go to the Dominican Republic to buy tickets. Maybe they just want to have at least 1 city? Its really a big mistery because there wasnt that much press about it.

Another reason is that flights to/from Santo Domingo have people who bring everything and the kitchen sink, and there were some performance issues with all that baggage and no room for cargo.
