America West Airlines has initiated a new promotion between the Bill Me Later programme and its frequent flyer programme, FlightFund. Bill Me Later allows customers the option of deferring payments for up to 90 days, to allow them to effectively buy their flights on 90-day credit. Members of FlightFund who select the Bill Me Later payment option while booking travel through the airline's own web site will receive 1 mile per US$1 spent. In addition, members will earn 1,000 elite-qualifying miles for their first purchase up until 2nd May 2005. FlightFund miles may be redeemed for award travel to more than 300 destinations on 5 continents, with domestic award travel beginning at 15,000 miles.
