Hilton HHonors - Hilton stay posts but 0 Airline miles?

I've seen this a few times on my account. It's happening again. I checked my double dip choice. Stays are registering, Honors points too, but big fat zero for airline miles.

Can anyone shed some light?

My first instinct was that you were (are) set to the 50% points bonus in lieu of any airline miles? I'd check that as the airline column has a zero in those stays as they post. Out of curiosity, do you check your folios before departure to confirm your current desire, rather than the dip choice you may have had at time of booking (if applicable)?

Check back in a few days. This happened to me recently on two stays at the LV Hilton, both stays posted in under 2 days but since the both folios were under $15 I did not worry about it too much initially, since all I cared about was the stay credit.

The proper amount of points plus my 500 miles for each stay posted a few days later.

Had this happen before, I called the Hhonors desk and they put it right straight away

This happened to me last year. I booked a room online for my dad, and he gave them his frequent flier number when he checked in. Somehow, it ended up in my account, and he got my miles for three other stays. So, first, I'd check to make sure your FF number is correct.

All the above, including FF number and points selection may apply, but in my case my FF # and P & M selection has remained the same for some years now.
My stay posted at first with no points/no miles with no intervention on my part it self corrected to reflect the correct amount.
My theory: has something to do with the rolling VIP qualification where the day a stay posts takes on more importance then in the past. ( previously only Dec31/Jan 1 really mattered)
