If any more people visit the islands they may begin to sink. :D They may actually top 7 million visitors this coming year. WOW! http://www.mauinews.com/story.aspx?id=6469
The Hawaiian state government and the unions have done everything they can to kill the state's economy, but they are no match for the hoards of tourists with pockets full of dollars and yen.
Hawaii has a legitimate claim to "Paradise".

Hawaii needs the dough because they have a yen to get lots of bucks. The state nickels and dimes the citizens yet still finds ways to cash in on visitors.
You can bet on the state creating a bill to get even more. Recently I even saw a sand dollar up for bid. They would even charge the rapper 50 cents if they thought it made cents.
This is not a penny-ante idea you know. Why a quarter of the people visiting here think so. If you check, dissenters will be slugged. Sorry as it sounds, we just plug along; we just can't change!
