I've got around:
100k pts left in amex mr
40k pts in hilton
30k pts in marriott
200k pts in spg
100k pts in intercontinental priorityclub
given the 2 bonuses I'm aware of for mr, ending march 31 :
2:1 exchange for amex mr -> spg (1000 mr = 500 spg, instead of 1000=333_
20% bonus on amex mr -> IC priority club (do I have to do a special registration to get this 20% bonus?)
What should I transfer my MR points to? Any recommendations? At first glance I prefer SPG because this is my last year as SPG plat and could get upgrades, but I'm unlikely to need all the points this year anyway.
I have no experience with using IC points, i.e. how many points required for stays, general award availability etc. I assume I can also use these points for holiday inns instead of IC hotels (less points?) I'm wondering if I transfer the 100K mr points to IC, I will get better access to hotel properties since I can stay at either starwood OR IC properties.
On the other hand, I know I can transfer spg points to airlines if I want. Currently I have need as I have lots of miles on AA.
As a final point of information, I work mostly in Europe (based in Brussels) so I'm looking for flexibility in european locations.
