Hertz - What the...? No cars in Tampa March 25???

Sorry, not a true Delta question but I just tried to reserve a car (Hertz #1 gold) and they do not have any cars of any class at any location. I realize this is Easter weekend but that's 3 weeks away. And they don't allow waitlisting. Any ideas??

Here's three ideas:

1) Avis
2) National
3) Alamo

While I have preferences, my brand (or blind in the case of Delta) loyality doesn't extend to rental cars.

Marylou, you are correct as this is not a DL issue. Therefore I will be moving this thread over to the Hertz board.

Throw Spring Training into the mix and cars are hard to come by this time of year from any of the big companies in Tampa.

I landed at TPA today and the lot was bare. Also only one person working the counter. Not impressed, to say the least (see my thread). There are only like 86 stalls, so I am not surprised some agencies are out of cars.
