Hilton HHonors - NAVIGANT PROMO - Which hotels within/near the same city are allowed?

I have registered myself for the Navigant promotion.

Is there any rule about the definition of 4 stays - about allowing 2 hotel properties on consecutive nights to be counted as 2 stays. I will likely be staying at a Hilton Family Hotel near Stone Mountain, GA on one night, and near the Atlanta airport the next night.

I'm not sure about the T&Cs of the promotion, but generally, you just need to stay at a different hotel to count as a stay. If you had an ES, HGI, and HI all clustered around a shared parking lot, you should be able to stay at each one on three consecutive nights and earn 3 stay credits.

A different "property" is a different qualifying stay, even if they are across the street or next door to each other (airport Hampton first night followed by airport Hilton at the same city the next is fine). What would not be OK would be staying consecutive nights in the very same hotel, then trying to argue: "But I booked separate reservations [both at the Embassy Suites of Anytown, British Columbia let's say] and I did separate check-ins each (consecutive) night!" That is one stay, pure and simple.

You should be just fine. Enjoy your NAVG status.

The Navigant promotion has been renewed; it is now valid through to the end of 2005.

I registered for it on March 1. Just call the HH Customer Service and mention the promo code NAVG. No question asked.

Hmmm -- apparently my reputation has preceeded me. :)

OTOH, if I sponsor my wife, I can get several thousand points while I put her into the promo and get her to Gold.
