In the past two weeks I've noticed there have been two press releases annoucing the addition of A319's to Frontier's fleet, the first for two aircraft leased from GECAS (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/050218/laf053_1.html) and the second today for one aircraft leased from ILFC (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/050302/law026_1.html), I'm just curious if anyone knows if these are brand new or second-hand? Specifically I'm wondering if some of these might be ex-US aircraft? I would think if they were new aircraft the press releases would have made a point of stating they were new.

They are all brand spank'n new. F9 has a total 62 Airbi in it's order. The remaining 15 are all 132 seat 319s at this point and are scheduled to be delivered as follows:

FY 2006 (4/2005 to 3/2006) : 3
FY 2007:7
FY 2008:5

There is "word on the street" that the deliveries listed above have been delayed somewhat but no official word from F9 or Airbus that I have seen.
