Now I don't know whether this is only for UK card members or not, but I do not see why it would not be open to all, perhaps a non Uk member could give it a go and report back.
There is now a website dedicated to centurion special offers, it takes your e-mail address and sends you details by e-mail once a month of the special offers for the chosen few :D
Here is the link, only to be used by centurion card holders please :p
www.americanexpress.co.uk/centurionemail
Hope it works for you ;) (members I mean, not riff raff or riff raff members even :D )

Sorry to burst your snotty, snobbish balloon but the same offers are available to platinum card members at a very similar link:

Errr... sorry but the word centurion is the BIG difference, like being invited to the opening of McDonalds or the opening of a new Ritz :D hotel.
I guess the only common thing is the www. in the link :D :D
Or the evening with the Cure which was utterly brilliant....

:( me and GF had a last minute nightmare and missed that.. had a suspicion I'd regret missing it.

Is there anything like this for the US? I apologize if it's already been covered--I recently upgraded to Plat.
I'm beginning to get the feeling that US AMEX customers get the worst end of the stick....higher membership fees, skinnier bennies. It's almost like buying perscription medicine!
Any way I can get a UK/foreign Amex?

John, as I said on my post, it may be that foreigners can also sign up for the offers, have you given it a go? Mind you, you would need to come over the pond to make use of them unless they are international.
Yeah, why does AMERICAN Express not offer this in AMERICA?!?!?!

I tried to follow up on the links provided at the web page you gave, but I received an error and nothing happened.

The problem is - there hasn't been an edition of Platinum Life since November! So much for the new "monthly" guide!
It was going so well, as well - the Jaeger evening, the Hugo Boss evening, and then .... NOTHING! Not a single email from Amex in the last 3 months. This is a real shame, because if they organised one p*ss up a month like the Boss event then it would justify the card fee by itself :D

CS...Shhhhhhh...don't let the riff raff know how to get into the secret centurion section, it will only make them jealous :p
Off now to get my flight to Scotland, see you Saturday evening in Edinburgh for a beer or ten :D Need to drown my sorrows because the Golf at Gleneagles is off as the course is snow covered :( Oh well, at least they have a well stocked bar :p

Followed the link, followed the directions, then the message - not a valid card number. I suspect the 3760 at the front of the card told it was an Oz based card, so no keys to the castle :(

Send me a PM with the other 11 digits plus expiry date and I'll let you know for sure ;)

Thanks fbgdavidson - I have always heard that FT people look after one another :D
Don't think I'm giving away any secrets - I think a lot of the Oz cards start with that sequence. Would that be similar in UK, USA etc??
btw - did you want the 4 digit code on the front too ;)
All the UK cards I have been issued with (the exception being the Travellers Cheque Card) start 3791.
Oh yes the four digit number would be handy. Send that by email and the other details by PM just in case somebody untrustworthy picks it up by mistake ;)
