Air New Zealand Air Points - Gold Comp Upgrade Expiry

I've just noticed that my Gold Comp Upgrades have disappeared.

I haven't used them, and haven't come up to the end of my Gold year... are they automatically expired at the end of each calendar year?

Tried to contact AirNZ, but they are as thick as anything, so thought I would try here first before pushing it further with them.

Check your online statement. When I put in a request to use upgrade it shows up as an entry in the statement - I presume any expiry would as well.

This is very strange.

Does anyone else find some of the call centre staff clueless when it comes to things like this ? Of course it doesn't help when the gold line's put you straight through to Res.

Maybe we need the extention of someone whom can help us with these sorts of things.
