THE Federal Government has banned over-booking of passengers by airlines, even as it threatened to stop the foreign ones from flying into the country for flouting the directive.

I see the following possibilities:
1) No-shows on non-refundable tickets forfeit what they paid, period. No credit towards a ticket for a future flight.
2) Higher fares to make up for the loss of revenue.
3) Nigerian routes are no longer profitable.

The Nigerian government would do themselves and the rest of the world a much bigger favor if they would instead ban/behead all those 409 scammers who operate within their borders.
