Hertz - Best CODE for Jaguar Rentals?

Does anyone have a few codes for luxury car rentals? I have tried the AAA and it gives a slightly lower rate, but nothing to write home about?

Don't think Hertz is running any CDP promos on the Jaguar (or any Prestige Collection vehicle) at the moment, and none of the AAA CDPs I have apply to a Prestige (other then an extra 150 ZE1 points).

The best luxury car code that I am aware of is the one that was sent out with the Ameniti Club (United Airlines) welcome kit. It offers 50% off any car in the Prestige Collection (i.e. Jaguar, Volvo or Lincoln) for one rental only, when the car is picked up between Thursday and Sunday. The CDP is 1488049 and the PC is 184236. These codes are supposed to offer a 15% discount off regular prestige rates on an ongoing basis as well.

Doesn't using the Ameniti CDP require proof of membership? e.g. Ameniti card. Also, the PC# seems to indicate a Paper coupon. Wouldn't that need to be presented at the time of rental?

These are the codes that I got with my Ameniti Club membership kit about a month ago, so I do not believe that they are 2004 codes. I did make a reservation and rent once with these PC and CDP codes.

They did send an "Ameniti Discount Card" that shows this CDP. It is printed on cardstock and does not have my Ameniti account number on it, so anyone should be able to use it. I don't think you would get the 50% one time offer, but you would at least get the regular 15% they offer. I rarely rent Prestige cars, so if you or anyone else wants to borrow this card, just in case you are asked to present it, please just email me and I can mail it to you. We could have a Hertz Ameniti Discount Card conga and you could mail it to the next person who needs it. Or if nobody needs it at that time, you could just mail it back to me.

i used the HPC1 rate along with AAA cdp a couple weekends ago for a x-type at YUL. the daily rate came out to only $61 CAD with unlimited km. that's about the best deal i've seen for that type of car.

I don't have a code, but I've had great luck with Neverlost requests. Got a Jag at DFW once and an Audi A6 in Feb in SAN.

I just tried the combo. Doesn't work for prestige but does work for Lincoln LS. Three days this weekend at EWR for $195. Not too bad.

I am not sure how long you have to rent for, but is good for getting luxury car rates under 80 bucks and including unlimited mileage.

I used that 50% off Ameniti code (Prestige collection) and they did ask to see the coupon, for what it's worth. I forgot it, but she ended up giving me the correct rate manually, saying, "you can give me my $100 tip later." :)

The XJ8L and XK8 convertible (ameniti not valid for that car!) are the ones to choose. IMO the X- and s- types are hardly worth saving a few bucks on the XJ8L.

hmmm...i tried this and got the dreaded error code: "00000172," whatever that means.

but, basically, hertz.com didn't like this combo.

I signed up for the 3 month ameniti trial for 10 bucks and grabbed that coupon. I am going to try it next weekend on the X class down in Tampa. I wont show the coupon unless they ask. Could get lucky. Its not the best of the prestige class, but for four days at 230, its a great deal.

The CDP works with other FF#'s and gives you the special rate.

I have had good luck the last couple of weeks in all florida citeis getting free upgrades to Jags & Volvo's. I guess they are running low on cars with summer.

Does anyone have a screen capture or scan of the coupon sent in the welcome kit? I signed up for the Ameniti program and have not gotten my kit yet. I see the 10% off discount on the web, but not the 50% off discount. I rented an XJ8 this weekend and the agent has already alerted me to needing the coupon when I return the vehicle... they're quite nice to me but informed me the Ameniti discount is considered "cash" and a hard copy is required.
