"Periodically, we will send you important information pertaining to your travel needs through our new Elite Bulletin.

FlightFund wants you to know about two important enhancements to our Elite membership program designed to make travel easier and more rewarding for you:

* We've enhanced our Automated Upgrade Process by prioritizing first by Elite level, then by rolling 12-month flight activity
* Added an Elite status indicator to your boarding pass

Effective immediately, our automated upgrade process is prioritized by your Elite level followed by your 12-month rolling flight mileage activity. Previously the upgrade process was based upon calendar year activity and on January 1st everyone started at zero.

As many of you know by now, when you check-in online or at most airport locations an Elite status indicator will print on your boarding pass. This indicator lets you access the priority security checkpoint line at select airports. If you don’t have an Elite status indicator on your boarding pass, simply present your FlightFund Elite membership card to access the priority security checkpoint line.

Enhancements designed to make travel easier and more rewarding for our Elite members. Another way we’re upgrading your low fare experience."

I'm glad they made the changes ^, although now those January MRs to be highest in status group won't be worth anything anymore. Oh well....

I think the rolling 12-month basis for determining upgrade priority is an excellent enhancement. The airline can be sure they're rewarding the most loyal customers, rather than those who either got lucky because of the Jan. 1 timing, or who crammed their MR's into Q1 in order to work the system. Fair for all. ^

I received this email today. Does this mean when plats are upgraded at the 72 hour window, they look first at plats on the reservation that have the most miles and or segs first?
