I currently have the rewards gold card plus an additional card for my wife. I see that the rewards plus gold card is $150 a year but you get additional cards free.
What are the other advantages that come with the rewards plus card vs the standard? Is it worth me upgrading to the plus card? I use the card for all my spending expect at places that don't take amex.
Thanks

If you already have an additional card for your wife and both cards are membership rewards, the plus card costs you nothing additional. The big advantage is bonus points for "every day" purchase expenditures and occasional plus card only bonuses. If you use your Amex for everything that it can be used for, the extra points are a no cost extra for changing to rewards plus.
