Does anyone know why US hasn't been more aggressive in code sharing with Star partners even before the Chapter 11 filing? Seems like they would want to take advantage of gaining access to some markets which are huge gaps in their system and some which would be high volume like Asia with Singapore, Latin America with Varig, and Canada with Air Canada. I know at one time Singapore signed a MOU with US but my assumption is that it was put on hold due to the Chapter 11 filing.

Anyone know how revenues are spilt on code share flights? I was not able ti find anything on the forums.

BTW, appears as if United and US split their cargo operations in Miami.

Welcome to FT!

If I can remember correctly, the operator of the flight gets the majority of the money and the ticketing-carrier gets a small chunk.

Also, US does have coded flights to NRT via UA.
