Hertz - Free Weekend Certificate fees and taxes

I utilized a free weekend certificate for an auto in Tampa two weekends ago.

I original reserved the auto from Friday, 10:00PM until Sunday, 5:00PM and the cost was quoted $9.17.

I had problems getting out Friday and changed the reservation to Saturday, 11:30AM until Sunday, 5:00Pm and the cost quoted was $17.60.

I missed my flight Sunday, yes it was a wonderful trip, and stopped by Hertz and advised them I would need the auto until the next morning, no problem they said the certificate was good through Monday, noon. I turned the auto in at 5:00AM.

When the charge hit my card is for $5.14, no other charges have hit. :)

I used a 5 Star Free Day certificate for a Premium at SEA during the week, was upgraded to a Town Car Ultimate (YI) and when I brought it back, the entire $100 charge, including taxes, fees, and all that jazz, was covered by the cert. Didn't pay a cent. ^
