Hertz - Hertz Facility to BOS Terminal C

I'll be flying in to BOS in a couple of weeks on United. I am #1 Club Gold
1. How frequently does the shuttle run from Terminal C to the Hertz Facility?
2. How long does the shuttle take from Terminal C to the Hertz Facility?
3. Does the BOS Hertz facility have Gold Canopy? (the website lists it).
4. How long does it take the Hertz people to process a return and get me on a shuttle back to Term C?

On the return, I will have my mom traveling with me back to SFO. She is recovering from a fracture. I'll be dropping her curbside at Terminal C and then driving down to the Hertz lot to return the car. I am trying to figure how much time she will be alone at Terminal C till I return.

I have always had very quick return service at BOS. Yes they have Gold Canopy service. I don't remember how long it took to get to the terminal but it was pretty quick.

1. The Hertz shuttle is one of the most frequent, I would guess around every 5 minutes during the day.

2. The shuttles make the loop and stop at all terminals, I would say close to 10 minutes to and from Term C, maybe less if they don't pick up or drop many people, possibly more if it is busy.

The drop off and pickup has always been quick for me.

Does anyone remember if the shuttle buses between Terminal C and the Hertz Facility, have steps? How many steps? Does the bus "kneel"? i.e. when its at the curb, the bus tilts a bit lower to allow easier entry/exit?

I am trying to figure if my mom will be able to negoitate the rental shuttle steps to get on and off, with her crutch.

1. The shuttle bus does kneel.
2. It has no steps. So, a person in a wheelchair/disability, can easily climb in.
3. The shuttle bus was waiting at Logan when i got off my flight. 4
4. It took 10 mins to get to the Hertz facility.
5. The return took 3 mins.
6. The shuttle back to Logan was waiting and got us there in 10 mins.

My Volvo was in the Gold canopy section ready to go and i was out of the lot in 5 mins. Consistent with the Hertz Gold Experience. ^

Only fly in the ointment, the Volvo S80, despite having only 1200 miles on it, was a dog. I found it slow on acceleration, but once we reached 40+ mph, it seemed to do better. The Temperature control on Auto always had the fan on high so I had to keep fiddling with it to get it down to required levels.
