I plan to visit Tokyo with my family that is two adults and two kids (7 & 10 years old). We have a time share hotel booking at Sun Member Tokyo Shinjuku but it is good for only two people and won't take any addtional booking. I would have to find one more room in other hotel. Could anybody recommend a budget hotel that is closed by this Sun Member Tokyou Shinjuku.

Another question is how much would a taxi or airport limo cost from Narita to Shinjuku area.

Many thanks in advance.

I tried to check Sun Member Tokyo Shinjuku on the web, but no information was there except for the phone number. Do you have any other information about Sun Member Tokyo Shinjuku ?

The airport-limo takes you 3,000JPY for an adult and 1,500JPY for a child. Do not think of a taxi. Too expensive. ;)

I may have miss-spelled the hotel name "Sun Members Tokyo Shinjuku". It should have "s" attached to "member".
ANyway the hotel address is
3-5-13 Nishi Shinjuku
Tokyo

The closest hotel may be Shinjuku Washington hotel. Also Park Hyatt Tokyo, Hilton Tokyo and Century Hyatt are close, but they are expensive.

Shinjuku Washington hotel : Nishi-Shinjuku 3-2-9
http://www.shinjyuku-wh.com/index2.html

Otherwise, Shinjuku New City hotel and Kadoya hotel may be close.

Shinjuku New City hotel : Nishi-Shinjuku 4-31-1

Kadoya hotel : Nishi-Shinjuku 1-23-1
http://kadoya-hotel.co.jp/e_index.html

I found these hotels by Rakuten Travel. You can chech the rate.

The Washington hotel is incredibly gloomy for Y14,000 a night -- for a few thousand yen more, you can stay in the much nicer Keio Plaza which for some reason the earlier poster didn't mention. There are several other budget hotels near the station that are usually much cheaper than the Washington and probably no worse, but I don't remember their names. Look at older posts in this forum (would have been easy with the search funtion).

Keio Plaza is superb, and there is a direct Limousine Bus link from Narita.

Also, Century Hyatt sometimes runs promotions where you can get a room for under Y20,000.
