AFAIK it is Wisemen 3000 both flights. But surely that wont affect your decision to fly SQ?
Edited to add. Depends on aircraft see posts below.

Its a while since I have had Wisemen 2000 but is not AVOD.
The other differences being the number of movies/tv on offer, different games, ...
SQ340 definitely has Wisemen 3000 since it is operated with B777-200ERs with Spacebeds.
SQ236: I am not sure which 777 aircraft is this operated by. If B777-200ERs, then same as above. If B777-200s, then you have 50/50 chance of having either one. If you want to make sure, just call up your local SQ office and ask if Raffles is configured 2-2-2 or 2-3-2. 2-2-2 (Spacebed) means B777-200ER, 2-3-2 means B777-200. Aircraft with Spacebeds have AVOD in all classes.

BNE flights are operated by 2 Class 200ER's in regional config, non spacebeds. In which case, your chances of getting avod are 47.1% :D
9V-SRA to SRI (9 airframes) don't have AVOD IIRC,
9V-SRJ to 9V-SRQ (8 airframes) do have AVOD.

I know for sure that SRA, E, J & K are recent visitors to BNE but since there's multiple flights to BNE daily, it still going to be a hit/miss thing.

shortfinals... ^ ^ ^ for the information. :)
You are correct, AVOD starts from SRJ. SRI still has old interiors.
But even though all SQ 777-200s are technically 777-200ERs, SQ calls only the Spacebed-equipped 777-200ERs the 'ER's.

Can anyone tell me if some or all of the SQ 744s are equipped with AVOD yet? Last summer when travelling SQ, neither of my flights offered it on the 744, while the 777 did have Wisemen 3000.... thanks!

IIRC there was another more recent thread with info. (see if can find it).
But to answer your question yes plenty of 744 with AVOD - I cant remember a 744 SQ flight without it.

The 744's all have AVOD - except maybe the last one or two that are still running around in non-spacebed config. I think....
shortfinals is correct.
All B744 with SpaceBeds (in J) have AVOD in all classes.

Well, I'm not 100% sure, but the last 2 unconfigured ones in SQ's fleet were 9V-SMQ and 9V-SMT.
SMQ is now with EL AL as 4X-ELS but I'm not sure about SMT, it could still be running around for SQ - and could well be in Ultimo Format. The last pic on a.net was taken Jan 5 2005.
Either way, the chances of anyone getting a non avod 744 are VERY SLIM, if not NONE.

sorry to bring this up agiain, but my flights changed and i am now on sin-cai on a 777-300 on flight SQ492
I think i recall someone saying this is a regional aircraft (they said it in a bad way), so am i to expect AVOD on this?

Paging in house 777 AVOD statiscian shortfinals... :D
SQ has 5 B777-300s without AVOD (9V-SYA to SYE) and 7 with AVOD (9V-SYF to SYL). Your chance of getting an AVOD B777-300 is around 58%. Maybe shortfinals can give a more exact figure? ;)

StarG ,
Your information isn't 100% accurate. The chances of getting an AVOD 777-300 are 58.333%, not "around" 58% as you state :D
If you are to be taken seriously as an authority on SQ on this board I suggest you endeavour to be more accurate
Nah ... I am just the stand in statistician ... ;)
