US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - how long does it take for re-deposited miles to appear in the account?

I have sent in free award tickets- us air ticket stock, of course- on a partner airline by next day fedex to the service center hoping to get the miles back in to my account ASAP as i have another reservation on hold but only until Sunday. i realize now that this was overly optimistic. they are not back in my account today, the service center is closed, and i will lose these first class seats to Asia on midnigght sunday-monday. Anyone know when these will post or have any advice about being able to extend the deadline for ticketing the award tickets by explaining my situation?

The agent will likely put up some resistance to extending the hold. However, if you make your case that you are awaiting the redeposit of an award, that should work in your favor.

I have had the hold extended on domestic partner awards many times before, so it is possible. Not sure if it's a CP benefit or not though.

I recently had a hold extended 3x before I booked the tickets, none of the agents I spoke with gave me any trouble. The only problem I had was trying to get through to US Award Reservations the day of the East Coast blizzard to extend the hold....
