Starwood Preferred Guest - Sheraton Suite's "Sheraton Promise" Service Guarantee

One of my favorite places to stay is at Sheraton Suites. First, you get a lovely suite, often times, for the same price as a regular room costs elsewhere. But their "Sheraton Promise" service guarantee is icing on the cake. It's very rare that anything goes wrong at these properties. But when something does, they are very impressive.

The guarantee is that if you're not satisfied with anything while at the hotel, they will compensate you with either points, cash, complimentary meals, etc. But what impresses me most, is that before you can even ask, they beat you to the punch and offer it FIRST! They will apologise profusely for the smallest things.

It kind of reminds me of the Monty Python sketch where a couple are dining at a fancy restaurant. The guy calmly points out to the waiter, that the knife is dirty and that he would like a clean one, (if it isn't too much trouble.) The waiter apologizes repeatedly and immediately calls the manager. Then, the manager apologizes, making a huge scene, for several more minutes. Eventually, the chef comes out and begins to cry! :)

Well, you get the idea. Sheraton Suites takes every little thing very seriously and really takes care of their customers. A very class act indeed!!

Not the one on Cyprus Creek Road in Fort Lauderdale.
Still waiting for them to get the sleeper beds last time there last yr they still didnt have them.
Its has a beautiful attrium since it was built as an Embassy Suite orginally. The rooms really need a complete do over, its aged.
Now the SS in Plantation is Great has everting that the FL is missing. Night and day difference.

Last summer I stayed there and asked when they were getting the new beds. I was told that all the rooms HAD the beds but they were still waiting for the pillows and blankets. Hopefully they have the whole ensemble by now.

Totally agree!

I was just at this very hotel not too long ago, and think that they could use some additional renovation. Not only did I screw up my reservation by inadvertantly using the pre-pay method of charging my card before the hotel stay, but the front desk attendant was rather rude to me when I asked why I didn't receive a folio under my door! It took quite some time to figure the mess out, but I really think that apologising profusely for the smallest things must happen only at select Sheraton Suites . . . I have not seen it here. :(

There is one thing about the Cypress Creek property that really irks me. The Starwood points take forever to post, if at all. I usually have to request "missing credit." It's the only Starwood hotel where I consistantly have this problem.
