Star Alliance - Business class - AMS to SYD

Hi all,

Did a quick search but couldn't find anything. I am trying to find out which is the best *A carrier for business class from AMS (but can do LHR) to SYD. Looking for advice from a price rather than a quality of product point of view. This is for a trip in early August.

TG would be the cheapest in many cases (from LHR or FRA).

SQ most convenient (but more expensive than TG). Flies to/from AMS and simple connect in SIN both ways.

Check if NZ has special fare LHR to SYD. Easy connections both ways in AKL and could add stopover in South Pacific or NZ if wanted to (if fare conditions allow). However downside is subject to US immigration in transit at LAX, and longer flight.

I agree SQ would be the best, but it will also be the most expensive.

OS via VIE to SYD would be quite convienient in terms of connections, and also oftens discounts well thru consolidators. (Note that the OS flights are operated by Lauda in Amadeus class. Search the LH forum for more info on this.)

Avoid TG in Business class at all costs IMO!
