MilesBuzz! - United Board Down

The United board seems to be down I havent been able to access it all evening. Is anyone able to get in?

I haven't been able to get on since this morning.

I was able to get to it this morning and afternoon. But no access this evening at all.

There is probably a much more elegant way of accomplishing this, but I was able to get into the UA section by conducting a search.

I entered "e" as the search word, chose "Match any of the search terms above" as an option, restricted the forum to United, selected "Search in subject only" and Search by Date "Since yesterday.

I figured most English sentences contain at least one vowel and "e" would be a good place to start. Too bad the search mechanism doesn't permit wildcards.

Many boards been fritzed for past 7 hours or so. There is an excellent thread on Qantas board that has amazing amounts of long duplicated posts. Been trying to post something to Catman (Community) thread for 5 hours. When it DID post, 5 hours of trying all went on at once. WEIRD. MrKey preceded me there, and his post went on identically for FORTY posts etc.

I mentioned the UA board being down during the NWA chat and everyone said they had no problems.

Glad to hear it wasn't my crappy pc again.

When that happens, you can try going in a back door by clicking on Today's Active Topics at the top of the page above the forums, which usually gets you to the active threads even if the board is overloaded for some reason and won't load, at least in my experience.

Very strange...thanks for the note. I don't see from the log files that the NWA chat effected all the other boards, just UA. Maybe we are having our own mechnic problems there. Anyway, my apologies and I can't say again enough times...."I can't wait til the move to new technology is done."

Tried to post something on Hilton last night and ended up with about 18 duplicates!

Seems to be working now.
