Delta SkyMiles (Pre-WorldPerks Merger) - How long for KLM miles to post to your SkyMiles acct?
I have recently took a flight ATL-AMS-LIS on KLM (NW ticket). Miles were credited to my DL account. I have received miles for the return trip (on NW metal), but have yet to receive any KLM-flown miles.
What are your experiences? How long did you have to wait for your miles to be credited?

I flew KLM and NW on Jan. 30th. KLM posted yesterday to my Delta account. My NW flight from later that day posted this morning.
I have had some strange issues with flights posting. On itineraries where I am flying both NW and KLM, My KLM flights will post without a problem and my NW does not post, or my NW flights post but my KLM ones do not.
Both are in classes of service that earn miles and my frequent flier number shows up on all the boarding passes issued at the time of check-in. Strange that not everythin posts.

I had a trip to Frankfurt on NW/KLM on Dec. 10. The NW miles posted within 48 hrs. I had to write Delta with boarding passes after one month, and I finally got credit the next week.
Still didn't get any miles from KL.
If I have to fax in the boarding passes where do I fax them? To DL, NW or KL?

Was your KL flight booked in a fare class that gives miles on DL. There are some fares -- e.g., the V one (if I remember correctly) -- which don't credit to DL but do credit to NW.
You fax your boarding passes to DL.
It was indeed a V fare (PD cert promo), but NW ticket (NW coded flights). According to this page (http://www.delta.com/skymiles/about/benefits_at_a_glance/mqm_calculations/index.jsp) V class both on NW and on KL earns mileage/MQMs.
Got me scared for a moment here ;)

13. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines:
Mileage credit only applies to flights operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. No mileage credit for fares booked in D, E, G, N, V, or W class. E and N class will not accrue miles effective January 1, 2005.

Oh. So according to all this info I should be getting MQMs, but not mileage credit. That does not really seem right :( I'd better print out the MQM page now...

I find that equally strange too. If both links are accurately part of the official rules, this would be the only situation where I will have encountered getting elite credit (on a non-promotional basis) but not getting frequent flier miles.
Perhaps terms related to crediting of code-share flights marketed by one SkyMiles partner but operated by another SkyMiles partners is not explicitly covered?
I've flown KLM about four times in the past year or so and each time my miles were posted within days.

Is there any clarification on this matter of KLM fares which apparently may entitle you to Medallion Qualifying Miles but not to redeemable SkyMiles?
Specifically referring to the discrepancy between this:

Note: All other classes of service do not accrue mileage. This chart applies only when traveling on KLM Airlines-coded flights.

Two simple questions related to confusing published material:
1. Do V-fares on KLM-coded/KLM-operated flights qualify for SkyMiles (and EQMs)?
2. Do V-fares on NW-coded/but KLM-operated flights qualify for SkyMiles (and EQMs)?
I will fly FRA-YYZ-FRA with KL on a Q class fare and I have upgraded the flight to business(D class) with my wifes KL miles. I like to collect the miles into my skymiles acct. I am curious if DL will credit the miles without a problem! Any thoughts or advice?
It took about a month, two faxes with boarding passes and ticket receipts, and a letter but finally I got my miles.
I got credited today for those missing flights with full MQMs and full miles including 100% GM bonus. Hooray!
