The Associated Press - CINCINNATI

As part of cost-control measures needed to restore Comair Inc.'s competitiveness, the regional airline's new president says he and other top officers will take a 10 percent pay cut beginning March 1.

"Because I believe leaders should walk the talk, I will be taking a 10 percent pay cut as well all the officers beginning March 1," Comair president Fred Buttrell said in memo Friday to the airline's 6,000 employees.
