Airbus plans to increase production of its single-aisle A320 aircraft family by 50 per cent over the next year to meet demand from budget airlines.

They've been very aggressive at pursuing and winning orders, so this makes sense. I hope UA is allowed to take delivery of the A319s they have on order and start phasing out the ex-SHT 733s and 735s.
