Try AA in March and April. I've found plenty of availability especially mid-week.

it's there...the easiest way to find availability is to go to travel.yahoo.com (or similar tool), plug in BUR, MSY with *flexible* dates and play around after selecting UA. i easily found $170ish on several dates...

Mar 5-6 UA has it with a 2:10 PM departure on Saturday and a 6:45 AM return on Sunday morning for $174.80. You could roam Bourbon St. for a few hours, too...
