Question about the unlimited MVP Gold upgrades ot 1st class and guest upgrade vouchers, both subject to availability.

Can these two upgrading schemes also be applied to (coach) Award tickets? Or are those excluded (like on most ohter airlines)?

You get a coach award, you're stuck in coach. Upgrades for purchased fare dependent on fare class and elite status.
