Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - Bofa Visa UG Cert question

Hello-

I have a BOFA 1250 UG mile cert that expires 1-31-05. I also have 2 Board room passes expiring 1-31-05.

Are they Sticklers on the Expiration Date of these coupons?

If so, i have no plans to use them before then, and frankly would be willing to offer them to any of you that will put them to good use before then. Perhaps someone would return the favor to me someday.

Unfortunately, sticklers is an appropriate description. I have been in the same situation, and was not successful as they adhere to the policy to the letter. I would say that you have a better chance with the boardroom passes as those have less affect on revenue, but it is unlikely that they would give up FC seats on expired certs, especially in light of the fare restructure to fill FC with paying customers, and the fact that there is almost always MVP and MVP Golds on the waitlist. Sorry I did not have better news.

I have had agents accept them past the expiration date. It never hurts to ask.

WOW, they let me use a board room pass that expired yesterday and WOW this place is NICE and WOW the people are NICE and WOW the fellow travelers are helpful and WOW i might buy a membership

Just thought i would update this thread with the outcome.

I would think that is the intended result of the cert - to get you to join. Yes, the SEA BR is very nice. I like the new ANC one even better.
