Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - A340-600 Inflight entertainment question (831 JFK-HKG)

Hi,

I just booked a business class seat on 831 out of JFK. I've only flown Cathay once before on a 747 out of SFO and had a question about the in-seat entertainment.

On my 747, you could start/stop the movies whenever you wanted (i.e. when you woke up, etc). Is it the same setup on the Airbus out of NY, or is it a repeating tape (as is the case with BA, my normal carrier).

Just kind of curious.

Yes.

All First and Business Class cabins on Cathay's long-haul aircraft (747-400, A340-300, A340-600 and three-class A330-300s) are fitted with Audio Video on Demand systems.

That is correct.
