Lovely they are..my new QC2 headphones. Used them on my flight back from IAD the other day and to watch movies on my laptop in the RCC..
..BUT..
the free cd player that came with them and my own Sony Discman doesn't have the bass/treble that I get when using them with United Airlines or my laptop.
My question is this: what does everyone use for music input to get deep reasonable sound? Don't get me wrong, I'm not into 'pumpin' bass' or anything like that but I do like a bit of 'depth' in my music.
Should I consider an ipod? The shop display showed an ipod connected to the headphones so it makes me wonder if they recommend the two go together?
