Travel Technology - Where to find Bose QC2 serial #?

I received a set of Bose QC2 headphones for X-Mas (very nice!), but now that I'm trying to send in the warranty card, it wants to know the serial #. The form says, "If you have problems finding the serial #, refer to your manual." Of course, the manual has nothing I could find regarding the number...

Any ideas where I should look, or can I just omit the serian # entirely?

Hmmm, that's a tricky one alright...I just got my set this weekend on a trip to the US...I have them in front of me now checking for you ('cause I'm nice like that!) - I can't find the serial number on the actual headset but can find a serial number on the box...it's a sticker just to the right of the Product Code and Unit of Measure on the front flap.

I can't speak for everyone's unit, but on mine the serial number is inside the earpiece with with power switch. It's positioned inside the inner rim so it's not visible with just a casual glance. You'll have to tilt the earpiece and look at it from an angle.
