InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Performance Awards

I just got a dozen Members Choice Performance Awards from PC. I guess these are little treats for the employees that you can hand out like candy. Unfortunately they are only for the US and Canada. We'll see if they employees even know what they are and if they value them.

Watch for employees that have a blue ribbon attached to their shirt saying something about Priority Club Service Award or similar. They get the ribbons for the award cards.

I gave all mine out last year and talked to several employees as I gave them theirs. Most of them said they turn these into the general manager of the area and are entered into drawings for TV's and other prizes. I think one had also mentioned that cash incentives were also involved in the redemption of these cards. They also get there ribbons as proof to the world.

BTW, the gals in Evansville, IN (Holiday Inn Express) got 4 of mine the last part of the year as service was great. Most of them literally had a dozen or more ribbons on there name tags. They also mentioned that they had to take the ribbons off on Jan. 1 as the "game" starts over (that is when I knew PC was going to send out new ones this year).

Anyway, use these cards with sincerity and if you aren't going to use them, please find someone (myself or other FT'ers) who will give them out (I average 130+ nights a year, so have a good chance to use a few more than 12....I hope).

Last year I too had these performance cards to hand out. Unfortunately I only handed out one.
