Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - using asiamiles for hotels?

Hello everyone

I am based in Tokyo and have got just over 33,000 miles which will expire in the spring,I can get fairly cheap flights to Asian destinations so I have decided to try to redeem them on a hotel but first I need answers to the following questions if possible,
1) is there a limit to the number of nights you can use them for?
2) is the redemption based on a single or double room and if there are two people, will they "charge" double miles?
I apologise if these are stupid,obvious questions but I've only ever redeemed miles on flights before not hotels and I want to avoid any hidden catches

I believe that there is no limit to the number of nights you may redeem as long as there is availability. I am not sure how hotel stay awards are done. Whether Asiamiles books the stay for you or redeems individual awards as a per night basis and you have to book with the hotel directly yourself.

I believe that the rates shown are per room per night, single or double occupancy.
