Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - SIN-HKG return for under US$90..

OMG... fares are getting cheaper between SIN and HKG. From ZUJI website:

Ummmm.....Thats really really cheap, I mean its even cheaper than the most recent HK$880 return (approx US$112) fare promotion for the SIN - HKG route.

The timing of the flights are reasonable (but then again, you can only fly on CX 734 which arrives in HKG at 20:05 and you have 'wasted' a day), but I guess with this price you can't ask for more.

Has SQ offered similar promotion to counter CX?

From experience, CX fares are usually cheaper ex-SIN than ex-HKG in general. Not only for the HKG-SIN route, but for many others as well. Same goes with SQ being cheaper ex-HKG than ex-SIN. But this deal of SG $144 is indeed amazing.

From WHICH source? And WHICH carrier?

From the carriers' respective websites, LAX/SFO-HKG rt on CX F still cost $12,000+ USD while SQ charges $9,000 for their SFO-HKG F. $12,000 & $9,000 is NOWHERE close to $3,000.

it's a bluk ticket from travel agency, i'm not sure the booking class but its definitely $3000 plus taxes from LAX to HKG on CX, I just came back on it. Think it's valid from any west coast US and Canada to Hong Kong on CX. But downside: no mileage, but who cares about miles with this fare.

For $3000, I'd want mileage !

Sounds dodgy... I have NEVER heard of a bulk fare on CX in First which doesn't give miles. Unless it's an AD50 ticket.
